It's nice to finally have some time to draw again! Currently I am working on new prints for a upcoming exhibition with Bat Country Collective, the name of the exhibition is "Man's Best Friend" and at the moment I have so many ideas that I think that my brain will explode and the ones that I have tested so far I am not really happy with so I have a few very busy weeks ahead. Wish me luck!
I have been fascinated in how some people have close relationships with wild animals for a very long time and have spent hours watching youtube videos of people cuddling with their cheetahs, lions and tigers, playing and swimming with wolfs, foxes and even white sharks and polar-bears. There's a lot that could be said about this, personally I don't even have a cat as I think it would be cruel in my tiny flat with no garden and of course I would much rather have a lion running free in the wild then being someone's pet but let's leave that debate aside and just look at the relationship that some people have with their animals for now and also remember that not all of these animals have been captured, some have been saved by humans and would not have been alive without them.
I would like to share one of the films I have been watching with you, it's about Chito & Pocho in Costa Rica, a man and his best friend, a crocodile - watch it and try to not be amazed.
My collective and I are really happy and excited about that our exhibition at Craft Coffee is so appreciated and has been such a success! We are staying for another two months and have added more new prints from Emma Farrarons, Dani's Drawings and me so come and have some great coffee, a illustration feast and some truly amazing raspberry marshmallows at;

I have been working with the super talented illustrators Karin and Dani on a few projects and always really enjoyed it and also always thought that our three different styles really work well together and that the three of us have a quirky feel to our work that I really like so why don't we start a artist collective and start working on more projects together? Said and done and our Bat Country collective started now in May and tomorrow we start our first exhibition at the lovely Craft Coffee is east London. The exhibition is up an running between 3/6-30/6, come by for east London's best coffee and a illustration feast! I have got some very exciting news, I am off to Moscow! I have never been to Russia before and I am super excited and at the same time slightly worried as I am going there during the coldest time in the year but long johns, gloves, scarves and cardigans have been packed and I have got extra insoles for my warmest boots and some how think that as I grew up in the north of Sweden where we can have days where its -23, I should some how know something about cold - let's see how wrong or right I am about that.
Except exploring Moscow I will also exhibit with the super talented Mina milk and Roma Hek. We will open our exhibition on the 8th of February so if you happen to be in Moscow then put your long johns on and come and join us!
The exhibition will be up and running until the 14th of March at;
Ciferblat
House 12
Tverskaya Street
Moscow
And just because I think Russian is such a beautiful language I have to post my Russian Bio;
В числе последних её клиентов - TSHIRT STORE, Åhlens, Super superficial, The Wallery, Anorak Magazine and Bilingual by Music.
Here are some pics from my private view in Stockholm. I met so many old friends and collegues as well as new faces and had such a good time that I forgot to take photos but here are at least some. It was a great night and of the 9 pieces that I am exhibiting, I sold 8 on the private view, amazing!
Thanks to everyone who came down and made it such a great night! The exhibition will be up and running until the 8/2 at Bar Nada in Stockholm.
I am the artist in resident this month over at Scandinavian Kitchen in central London. I am afraid that I don't have any exciting photos except this one from the evening when I hanged it all but might be able to drop by and get some more later.
At Scandinavian Kitchen you can get your favourite Swedish, Danish and Norwegian sweets, bread and a variety of products - or have a nice cup of Scandinavian coffee and a pastry or sandwich, and check out Scandinavian artists of-course;

Today I hanged the A Study of Sports and Leisure exhibition and here's a little sneak peek with work from Sarah Ray and me at the top followed by Karen Cheung, Mogu Takahashi, Kate Hindley and Lorna Scobie - can't wait for the private view!
Thank you so much for your help today Danijela Dobric, without you I would not have made it!
The lovely people at the O3 Gallery has sent me some photos from the ongoingOn These Magic Shores exhibition that I am taking part in, wish I could see it in person, looks great!
The exhibition will be up and running until the 16th of June and is showcasing work from artists like Gemma Correll, Julia Pott, Jamie Mitchell, Sarah Ray, Jo Cheung, Anna Lindsten, Kris Tate and me.
Here it is the Press release for the exhibition that I am curating in June, A Study of Sports and Leisure with ace illustrators like Sarah Ray, Kate Hindley, Mogu Takahasi, Karin Söderquist, Danijela Dobric, Mr Millerchip, Mat Pringle, Lorna Scobie and Karen Cheung -I can't wait!
There are definitely too few illustration exhibitions in London, don't you think?
I thought that I should do something about it so last summer I curated "Let's Fika" together with Karin Soderquist and Danijela Dobric, featuring artists like Hanna Melin and Martin Wollerstam at Fika, London.
Now it is time for the next show.
This time I am curating the exhibition and it is all about celebrating character design within contemporary illustration with a added twist, I want everyone to forget about everyday troubles and boredom, politics, triple dip recessions and domestic chores and instead focus on what we love the most, having free time and doing all the things that makes us happy.
And I am very pleased to say that I have some of my absolute favourite illustrators in the show;
