This is why I never do any Illustration competitions, I find most of them being scam like.
So I should pay you a fortune to judge my work and if my work is chosen and you want to show it in your show etc I will be charged with an extra additional fee?
Is this the way to get the best contemporary illustrations submitted or simply just the ones who has endless credit and funding?
Now I am going to make my morning coffee and forget about it.

I know what you mean: it's the same with the "art-competitions". It gets on my nerves and makes me angry. grrrrrr, I try to forget about it too....
Hmm, we should maybe start our own competition, for illustrators, by illustrators where the focus would be on the art and the illustration and not if you can afford the entrance fees or not. Hmm... I need more coffee :)
