Work in Progress: The Fox in the rain

Here are some images from a commission that I am working on.

 I am not quite there yet but in the end there will be a fox standing in the rain with his

 umbrella holding a baby bird, something like this I think… 

...if I don't completely change my mind and turn him into an astronaut or a jazz musician instead. 

 I love to make characters so I am having fun and will show you the final in the end of the week.

Now I am going to make halloumi burgers with garlic marinated mushrooms and lots of hummus 

and get back to my to do list.. it's scarily long this week

This is why I never do any Illustration competitions, I find most of them being scam like.

So I should pay you a fortune to judge my work and if my work is chosen and you want to show it in your show etc I will be charged with an extra additional fee? 

Is this the way to  get the best contemporary illustrations submitted or simply just the ones who has endless credit and funding?

Now I am going to make my morning coffee and forget about it.

Not Really. But almost.

Can't make an animal pattern without a shark.

And a whale.

And a tiger.

And a sting ray.

And of-course a zebra.

There are too many cool animals.

Out and about in East London

Four days of riots around not just London but all of UK. I could write a lot about that but let's not get political here, I am just happy that all my loved ones are safe and hope that the violence and looting is over now and that the politicians realize that there is something wrong in a society when their young ones run around and burn down shops.

Home with flu, really bored and annoyed as I have had the flu for a few days now and want to get back to work.

On a more positive note, lots of fun things are happening right now that I am quite excited about, which makes me even more annoyed about being sick, I will update you all when I am back up on my feet!

And yes, I have done some small improvements to the blog, now it is possible to add any of my posts to Twitter, other Blogger accounts or Facebook with just one click thanks to these new added buttons, which is quite tech for being me...
