Ego boost on the beach

I have just been on a amazing holiday in Sweden, +32C every day, peace and quiet, no rush hour traffic but mosquitoes and horseflies, lot's of swimming in the ocean and barbecuing dinners on the beach, I have had a great time! I also been meeting elks at two different occasions, which is a must for a Sweden visit, and of course I have been eating loads of my favourite cake, prinsess-tårta, and ate a ridiculous amount of very sour sweets.

I got some nice news on my holiday, a friend told me that my Budgie Love mural is featured in the latest issue of Sweden's biggest interior design magazine, Hus & Hem, I am so glad that she saw it and told me or I never would have known, thank you Therese!

Now I will brag about this for a while, so much fun to see your work in a magazine ;)

I will post some images from my holiday soon but now I will go and enjoy a proper cup of British tea.

Cap & Design issue 4-5 Feature

For all of you who's not in Scandinavia and who can't get a hold of issue 4-5 of the brilliant design magazine Cap & Design, here's the short interview with me and some pics of my feature. I just visited Sweden for a long weekend and it felt very strange to walk around in Stockholm and see my Bear illustration on the front cover of a magazine in all shops, quite a ego boost ;)

Found this nice little feature on Fashionland today, it's nice to see that the Tiger with Braces print still is popular and that people like it, made my day.

Quite smug today as my Animal Kingdom Bear is on the front cover of the biggest design magazine in Scandinavia, Cap&Design - and there's a short interview with me regarding my work inside, yeay! :)

Nya Rum issue 4

Yes, finally it is here!

I have been waiting for this and have been so, so curious about how they were going to feature my Budgie Love wallpaper and today the magazine arrived, the latest issue of the Swedish magazine Nya Rum and even though there is just a tiny bit of my Budgie Love Wallpaper that you hardly can see - I am excited! Wow, my wallpaper is in a magazine!  :)

Illustratörcentrums Katalog 2012

I'm gonna have a page in the Swedish Association of Illustrators Illustrator Catalogue 2012. 

And guess if I have been pulling my hair out about what to show!

In the end I picked the work that I did for the Swedish company Åhlens and it looks like this:

What's New?

Something fun happened today, some of my work is featured on Volume Magazines Blog 

under the "Volume Loves" section and my I Love My Bike Monster is featured

on Cycling in Auckland together with the nice comment that I draw like a child.

What else is new? 

I am going to move to a real studio shortly which I am super exited about. 

At the moment I am working in my bedroom and there's papers and pens all over the place.

I will show you some pictures later on of my new work place.
